Microsoft sunk a lot of money in Jerry Seinfeld, believing his role in their new ads would be enough to end the crush on Mac. I personally despise Justin Long and the Mac vs. PC ads, but I'm a little puzzled by the first collaboration between Bill Gates and Seinfeld. The spot has Gates trying on dress shoes, and Seinfeld sees him and gives him a hand. At no point do they mention Vista, and at no point do they offer anything concrete about computers. It's just a weird little spot that is supposed to grab your attention so that the next couple ads hit the point home. We'll see if that happens. Enjoy?
