SPORTS: YANKEES RECEIVE ONE CURSE, DIFFUSE OTHER

On April 3rd, Alexa Rodriguez was touring Fenway Park on a school trip when a red-tailed hawk attacked her, leaving minor damage. This is a bad omen for Yankees third-baseman and alleged steroid abuser/homewrecker Alex Rodriguez. Skip Bayless says that it's fitting since come playoff time, A-Rod plays like a 13 year-old girl anyway. But the Yankees were able to dodge another curse after a construction worker building the new Yankee Stadium buried a Big Papi jersey in the cement. Word got around about the location of the shirt, and a couple days later, builders dug up the site and retrieved the shirt. It's not like Boston needs any more help given that the Red Sox have won two World Series in the last four years.
