WEB: Fantasy Football Season Begins

*Posted July 31, 2008*

Time for the all-consuming fantasy sports season to begin this year. The drama, suspense, anger, and excitement that is running a fake football team seriously takes up a lot of time. Especially when you put months of hard work into it only to come in last place (it wasn't even close, my team was terrible). But a new year brings a fresh start where everyone once again believes they are a football genius. I get to draft LDT #1 this year, so what's the worst that can happen? Since you're used to some humorous clip or story from the web in this segment, I leave you this week with a story of a Batman nerd taking things too far.

Police say a 20-year-old Three Rivers man dressed up as the Joker and attempted to steal movie memorabilia and posters related to the newest Batman movie.

Three Rivers Police received a disturbance call at the Three Rivers Cinema 6 Theater just after midnight Sunday morning.

Police say when they arrived on scene the movie theater staff was restraining a man dressed in full costume as the Joker from the box office hit “The Dark Knight.”

The man was identified as 20-year-old Spencer Taylor of Three Rivers, Michigan.

Taylor was arrested and booked on felony larceny and malicious destruction of property.

Let's put a smile on that face.
