FEATURE: Wall of Fame Now Open!

*Posted September 11, 2008*

Welcome to the first in a new line of features being brought to TOP TEN. Over the last few months, we've gotten some great feedback from our viewers (thanks mom!), but the biggest complaint is that they just don't know much about us. Well, we aim to fix that with the Wall of Fame. My biggest problem with a lot of journalism, whether print, web, or tv is that you don't know where the commentators and writers stand. Some certain news channels, most notably MSNBC, are actually reporting the news like it's 100% fact, when most of the time the anchors (most notably Keith Olbermann) inject their bias. If you're going talk opinions, like Hannity and Colmes, Bill O'Reilly, and Glenn Beck, at least have the guts to say it (there's nothing wrong with airing your opinion, just don't present it as fact). And it's no secret here that we are a young, conservative, pro-Steel City website. Our newest feature is the Wall of Fame, a gallery of the people in politics, sports, movies, tv, and music that have shaped our views and have most influenced this website. Basically, if you like what we write, you'll like what these people do. Every three or four weeks, someone new will be inducted. The bios of the staff will be the next feature, and that will come in a couple weeks.
