*Posted October 10, 2008*SNL always seems to hit it's stride during Presidential elections. Gore v. Bush debates were classic, and if the ratings of recent SNL episodes are any indication, "maverick" will be right up there with "lockbox" and "strategery." Only Fred Armisen's Barack Obama is lacking, but for 12 minutes of fun, just watch the VP debate spoof. I haven't watched a full episode of SNL since Pearl Jam was on with La Lohan in 2006, but this kind of stuff is always encouraging.
