WEB: Dr. Horrible is Here!

*Oosted July 17, 2008*

This couldn't come at a better time. Now that all of you are excited about Dark Knight, here's a nice little web series that will lighten your mood before you go to the theater. Dr. Horrible, as we all know, is about a down-on-his-luck villain (the gay Neil Patrick Harris) whose evil inventions never really quite work all the way. He's also fallen for a local girl (the Guild's Felicia Day) at the laundromat, but is too shy to talk to her. To make matters worse, he's constantly being one-upped by his nemesis, the superstrong but not superbright Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion). Oh yeah, and it's also a musical. Good luck watching it at drhorrible.com, the video is getting about 1000 hits per second, so the streaming is veerrrryy slow. You have a week to watch it for free, then you'll have to buy it on iTunes. Parts 1 and 2 are out now, with the final Part airing this Saturday. It's not 100% pure genius like all Whedon fans are saying, but it is funny. I don't watch a lot of musicals, but I don't understand why they always have to have a song where more than one person is singing. I find it confusing.
