*Posted July 24, 2008*I feel it is my duty to keep you pop-culture vultures up to date on important events like the Presidential election. So what's new in politics? Obama finally answered McCain's charge and visited the Middle East for the first time in years to see the situation up close. But back home, it may turn out that nobody really cares what Barack is doing. While trying to spread his message of change and hope internationally, the polls in the U.S. show no bump in his rating (according to an Opinion Dynamics Corps. poll for Fox News.) This same poll had Obama up 45-40 a month ago, but that is now down to 41-40, a virtual dead heat.
